  • 1 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • 1 tsp  black pepper
  • 1tsp sea salt
  • 1tsp mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp Pimento/all spice
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 cup dried split peas
  • 8-10 cups water
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 white potato
  • 1 cup of cho cho
  • 3 scallions (chopped)
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 cup of basil leave/spinach/kale
  • 1 cups callaloo
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup okra
  • 2 green banana (chopped
  • 2 carrots
  • Dumplings
  • Optional : Yam ,plantain
  1. First wash 1 cup of split peas and place in a large pot
  2. Then pour 8-10 cups of water into the pot and cook split peas for 30mins until tender.
  3. Then add your Garlic cloves, onions, spring onions, thyme and grated ginger.
  4. Add 1 tsp black ground pepper
    1 tsp Pimento
    1 tsp sea salt
  5. Then stir and bring to a boil
    Then add 1 cup of Sweet potatoes
    1 1/2 cup of pumpkin
    1 cup of cho cho
    1/4 cup of white potatoes
    1 cup of okra
    1 cup of Carrots
  6. Then add 2 cups coconut milk and stir well.
    1 cup of callaloo
    1 cup of spanish/basil/kale
    1 scotch bonnet pepper
  7. Stir well and simmer 40 mins
