Delicious Caribbean coconut curried shrimp using Truly turmeric by Naledo. This recipe is absolutely Caribbean using Naledo truly turmeric paste which gives this dish a zesty freshness with the whole turmeric root. an easy recipes to make at home for family and friends.   • 1 tbsp. Curry powder
  • 1 tsp. Sea salt 
  • 1 tsp. Coarse black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Ground ginger
  • 1 medium red onion chopped 
  • 4 garlic cloves chopped
  • 2 tsp. Truly Turmeric paste by Naledo 
  • 200ml coconut milk 
  • 300g Extra large raw shrimp
  • 1 red bell pepper strips 
  • 1 yellow bell pepper strips
  • 2 spring onions sliced 
  • 1 scotch bonnet chopped 
  • 1 tbsp. Dried thyme. 

Firstly season your shrimp with curry powder, salt, black pepper and ginger then marinate for a few minutes.

Now in a large frying pan add some vegetable oil on a medium heat then add onions, garlic then cook down until soft. Add Turmeric paste then stir in and add coconut milk then mix together to create a coconut sauce.

Add shrimp then stir and cook for a few minutes then add bell peppers and spring onions stir together then add scotch bonnet pepper and cook for 5 minutes on a Low heat. Serve with white rice.  Garnish with dried thyme.
