If you love seafood aswell as mac and cheese your going to love this recipe! its creamy cheesy and packed full of FLAVA! and the topping is CRUNCHY with breadcrumbs and cheese crackers on top!
- 500g Pasta of your choice
- Likkle sea salt
- 300g raw shrimp
- sea salt
- 3 tsp Black pepper
- 3 tsp. Paprika
- 1 onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves diced
- 250ml milk
- 600g grated cheese
- 1 scotch bonnet diced
- 125ml double cream
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 100g cheese crackers crushed
- 2 tbsp. Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp. chilli flakes
In a large saucepan add water and bring to a boil season with salt then add pasta and cook for 7-9 minutes.
In a separate pan add a Likkle olive oil on a medium heat, add shrimp and season with Likkle salt, 1 tsp. black pepper, 1 tsp. paprika cook for a few minutes then set aside.
In a saucepan, add some olive oil on a medium heat, add onions, garlic, and cook down until caramelized. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika mix and cook down then add milk, 300g cheese, scotch bonnet mix and bring to a boil and thicken.
Once pasta is cooked, add butter and mix. then pour cheese sauce over pasta and mix together. Add shrimp and mix.
Pour pasta mix in a oven tray evenly then add cheese on top along with crushed cheese crackers and breadcrumbs then garnish with chilli flakes and mixed herbs.
