A favourite on the takeaway menu so why not try it at home! So good, fresh and flavaful! You’ll love this easy King prawn fried rice.

350g Large Raw prawn or shrimp
1tsp Salt
2 tsp White pepper
1tsp Paprika
2 tbsp All purpose
1/2 Scotch bonnet diced
1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
1 onion diced
5 cloves of garlic
1 large carrot diced
2 beaten eggs
2 tbsp Light soy sauce
2 tsp Oyster sauce
2 tbsp Seseme oil
Frozen peas
300G Cooked rice
Spring onions for garnish

Season prawns with salt, white pepper, paprika, all purpose seasoning, scotch bonnet, cooking wine and combine together. In a large frying pan sauté onions, garlic, and carrots.

Once sauted remove from pan and add the seasoned prawns and cook for 1 minute. Then set to one side of the pan, and pour in whisked eggs, season with salt and combine together with prawns and cook for further 2-3 minutes. Then remove and add your sauted onions, garlic and carrots back in, also adding peas and cooked rice.

In a small pot/container combine soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil and pour into the frying pan. Mix everything together for 5 minutes til the rice is hot, and serve!
