Easy Caribbean style nandos with serious FLAVA!, during this time of lockdown, all restaurant are now closed so why not bring the restaurant to you!.

  • 1.1kg-1.5kg whole chicken
  • 262g Nandos per-peri Marinade
  • 5 tbsp. Jerk seasoning rub
  • Bunch of Fresh thyme
  • Potato fries
  • 5 baking potatoes
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • Jerk peri- peri gravy
  • Nandos peri peri marinade
  • 4 tbsp. Chicken granules
  • 1 tbsp. Jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp. BBQ sauce
  • 150ml water

Spatchcock your chicken by cutting the back of the chicken down the middle.  Season chicken with Jerk seasoning rub, and ½ of the nandos marinade and fresh thyme. Place in pre-heated oven for 50 minutes on 180 degrees.

Potato fries

   Wash potatoes then slice and cut into chip style shapes. Part boil with some salt for 10 minutes. Drain water then deep fry in oil until cooked.

Jerk peri gravy

In a small saucepan, add some chicken granules with some water, Nandos peri peri marinade jerk seasoning, Jerk bbq sauce and then bring to a boil and stir consistently. For 5-7 minutes. Serve with coleslaw and avocado.
