We are excited to announce that Original Flava Kitchen is officially back in South London, setting up residency at Jumbi Peckham.
From the moment we stepped inside, we knew Jumbi was a perfect fit. The music focused space, the sound systems, the vinyl culture, it reminds us of authentic spots back home in Jamaica. There is a real energy in the room. A deep respect for Caribbean heritage mixed with the creative pulse of Peckham. It represents everything we love about the South London inclusive Caribbean music scene.
This residency is about more than food. It is about culture, community and creating a space where Caribbean flavour meets South London sound.
We are launching with a brand new menu, including Oxtail Trini doubles, Plantain tostones with scotch bonnet hummus, Jerk Halloumi w/ pepper salsa, Rum BBQ chicken skewers & signature dishes like Nanny’s Curry Goat & Jerk Chicken from the jerk drum, a true balance of fusion & classic Caribbean inspiration to the plate.
