Sweet, spicy delicious Sticky Supermalt bbq Chicken with a mouth-watering Supermalt BBQ sauce. Perfect recipes for family and friends. Easy recipe for the oven or grill!
- 4 leg quarter Chicken
- 1 tsp. Sea salt
- 1 tbsp. Black pepper
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Dried thyme
- 1tsp All spice
- 1 tsp. chilli powder
- 284ml BBQ sauce
- 165ml supermalt
- 250ml water
- 1 tbsp. Chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp. Parsley
Score two lines and Season chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic, dried thyme and paprika then marinate for at least a few hours.
Add to a baking tray and cook for 45mins.
While chicken is cooking start making BBQ Supermalt sauce. In a small saucepan, add BBQ sauce, supermalt water, chilli flakes and parsley stir then bring to a boil for 5 minutes then summer for 5 minutes until cool.
Brush bbq Supermalt sauce on chicken then cook for further 10 minutes until glazed.
Garnish with fresh chillies and parsley. Serve with Jollof rice and Plantain.
