Original Flava version of macaroni cheese/ pie. Everybody loves it! This recipe is really cheesy with a crispy crunchy top. You’ll love it. Great to have as a side dish. Mixed with 4 different types of cheeses with lots of spices and flavour.

  • Original Flava’s CHEESY Macaroni Pie
  • 500g Macaroni
  • 2 cups Evaporated milk/ Whole milk
  • 2 Beaten Eggs
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1tsp salt
  • ½ small onion grated
  • 1 Scotch pepper (Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp. Butter
  • 200g Mild cheddar
  • 200g mature cheddar
  • 200g Mozzarella
  • 200g Four Cheese/
  • Optional: Cheese crackers

 

  1. Firstly cook 500g of macaroni with water slightly above it for 10 mins with 1tsp salt.
  2. In a mixing bowl Add 2 cups of evaporated milk or whole milk
  3. 2 beaten eggs
  4. ½ cup of flour
  5. 1 tsp mustard
  6. 1tsp paprika
  7. 1tsp chilli powder
  8. 1 tsp black pepper
  9. 1 chopped cotched bonnet pepper
  10. ½ grated onion
  11. Mix together
  12. Add 1 tbsp. butter to macaroni
  13. Add 1 cup of cheese to macaroni and mix together well until cheese is incorporated into macaroni
  14. Then pour liquid mix onto the macaroni and mix together well
  15. Use a slightly deep tray and pour 1 layer of macaroni at base of tray
  16. Then add your Mild cheddar
  17. Then add another layer of macaroni
  18. Then add your mature cheddar
  19. Then another layer of macaroni
  20. Then add 200g Mozzarella
  21. Then layer of macaroni
  22. Then 200g of four cheeses
  23. Optional: For crunchy taste, crush 1 cup of cheese crackers and sprinkle evenly over macaroni and cheese with 1 tsp of paprika.
  24. Then bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
