These JUICY Garlic butter prawns are a good reason to get the BBQ out! There Garlicy, buttery and packed with Caribbean FLAVA. so quick and easy to make. The Perfect recipe for summer!

  • 1kg Large tiger prawns 
  • 1 tsp. Sea salt 
  • 1 tbsp. Black pepper 
  • 1 tbsp. Garlic powder 
  • 1 tsp paprika 
  • 1 tbsp. Jerk marinade 
  • 115g butter 
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic paste 
  • Shrimp shells 
  • Handful of fresh parsley diced 
  • 1 tbsp. Chilli flakes 
  • Juice of half a lemon. 
  1. Wash and prep shrimp by cleaning with lime / vinegar and peeling off the shell and devaining. 
  2. Add prawns to a mixing bowl and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika and jerk paste and massage in.
  3. Cook prawns on bbq grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn pink and chard then remove and set aside. 
  4. In a frying pan melt some butter for a few minutes, then add garlic paste and shrimp shells then mix together with a splash of water
  5. Add fresh parsley and chilli flakes and stir well to create delicious sauce. 
  6. Add prawns into the pan and gently fold in and cover with that sauce, add lemon juice and serve.
