These JUICY Garlic butter prawns are a good reason to get the BBQ out! There Garlicy, buttery and packed with Caribbean FLAVA. so quick and easy to make. The Perfect recipe for summer!
- 1kg Large tiger prawns
- 1 tsp. Sea salt
- 1 tbsp. Black pepper
- 1 tbsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp. Jerk marinade
- 115g butter
- 2 tbsp. Garlic paste
- Shrimp shells
- Handful of fresh parsley diced
- 1 tbsp. Chilli flakes
- Juice of half a lemon.
- Wash and prep shrimp by cleaning with lime / vinegar and peeling off the shell and devaining.
- Add prawns to a mixing bowl and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika and jerk paste and massage in.
- Cook prawns on bbq grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn pink and chard then remove and set aside.
- In a frying pan melt some butter for a few minutes, then add garlic paste and shrimp shells then mix together with a splash of water
- Add fresh parsley and chilli flakes and stir well to create delicious sauce.
- Add prawns into the pan and gently fold in and cover with that sauce, add lemon juice and serve.
