An incredibly delicious, feel good flava treat! So simply to make in just 30 minutes. A delicious combo of succulent meat and grilled sweet plantains & peppers with  the BEST dressing you can imagine! You’ll love making these!

Wooden Skewers sticks
300g chicken thighs cut in chunks
2 rump steaks cut in chunks
vegetable oil
2 all purpose seasoning
1 tsp cayene pepper
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 plantains
2 bell peppers any colour
1 red onion

2tsp Chinese chilli oil
Bunch mint leaves
minced garlic
1 tsp salt
olive oil


 Makes 8 skewers

1.Place your chicken chunks  In a bowl season  with salt, black pepper, all purpose seasoning, cayenne pepper and thyme and mix together.

2. In a separate bowl, add your steak chunks and season with salt, black pepper and all purpose seasoning and mix.

3.Get a large griddle or frying pan add 5  Tablespoon of vegetable oil once hot, turn down to medium heat and fry the plantains, bell pepper and onion chunks  till golden & charred on Both sides ( we’re not fully cooking them here)

4.Remove them from your pan and add the chicken and brown on each side, then remove.

5.In a large oven tray add the chicken, plantain, peppers & onion and finish off in oven at 180oC for 15 minutes.

6.Whilst that’s cooking, on the same frying pan. Cook your steak chunks for approx 3-4 mins each side or until your preference.

7.For the chilli mint dressing, in a small bowl, add Chinese chilli oil, 2 tbsp olive oil, fresh mint, sprinkle of salt, minced garlic, lime juice, syrup and mix together.

8.Build your skewers and drizzle on the sauce. Now enjoy di ting!
