This Sweet and spicy Tofish recipe will have your tastebuds going wild! Easy tasty and Flavaful! Give this a try you’ll love it!

  • 420g Firm tofu
  • 125ml Coconut milk
  • Squeeze of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Caribbean fish seasoning
  • 120g Plain white flour
  • 2 tbsp. Cornflour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. curry powder`
  • 1 nori sheet shredded
  • Vegetable oil for shallow frying.
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 carrot sliced
  • 1 tbsp. White vinegar
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Firstly you need to press the tofu down with a plate and leave on for 20 minutes, this will help to remove water. Cut tofu into quarters then add to a mixing bowl and season with salt, black pepper and seaweed seasoning then add coconut milk and mix together.

Add cooking oil into a pan on a medium- high heat ready for frying

To make the batter, add flour, cornflour, paprika, curry powder to a small bowl and stir then add tofu into the batter mix and cover and shake off.

Place tofu into hot  oil, and cook until golden brown.

Use same oil and add bell peppers, onions, vinegar, salt, black pepper stir and cook down until soft, garnish on top of tofu.
