Jamaican-Style Seasoned Chicken
Easy Juicy, well-seasoned chicken cooked in a Jamaican style — slow in the oven for tender flavour! , or in air fryer for that proper crunch.

Ingredients
•4–6 chicken leg quarters
•1 tsp salt
•1 tsp black pepper
•1 tbsp all-purpose seasoning
•1 tsp garlic powder
•1–2 tbsp jerk paste
•2–3 tbsp melted butter

Method
1.Prepare the chicken
Wash the chicken with cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper.
Score the chicken a few times to help the seasoning penetrate.
2.Season
In a bowl, combine salt, black pepper, all-purpose seasoning, garlic powder, jerk paste, and melted butter.
Massage the seasoning all over the chicken, ensuring it gets into the cuts and under the skin where possible.
3.Marinate
Cover and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours.
4.Oven cook
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Place chicken on a lined baking tray, skin side up.
Roast for 50 minutes, turning once halfway through.
5. Rest & serve
Remove from heat and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
