If you’re trying to look good this summer, you’ve got to be eating food that excites you. Recipes like this don’t just taste good – they make you feel good too.
Ingredients
Protein:

400g ribeye steak, cut into 3–4 cm cubes

300g large raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Seasonings:

1 tsp sea salt
-
1 tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
-
4 tbsp avocado oil
-
1 tbsp unsalted butter
-
½ tsp dried parsley
Garlic & Herb Sauce:
-
75g fresh parsley, finely chopped
-
½ Scotch bonnet, finely diced
-
4 tbsp sour cream (or low-fat mayo / plain yogurt)

1 tbsp garlic paste
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
Sides:

Cauliflower rice (pre-made to save time)

Guacamole (pre-made or homemade)
Method

Season the Steak
Cut the ribeye into cubes and add to a mixing bowl. Season with sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside. -
Season the Shrimp
In a separate bowl, season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning. -
Cook the Steak
Heat 2 tbsp avocado oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook steak cubes for 3–4 minutes on each side, or to your preferred doneness. Remove and set aside. -
Cook the Shrimp
In the same pan, add the butter and remaining avocado oil. Cook shrimp for 3–4 minutes until pink and cooked through. Sprinkle with dried parsley. Set aside. -
Make the Garlic & Herb Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together sour cream (or mayo/yogurt), garlic paste, lemon juice, Scotch bonnet, and fresh parsley. Stir until smooth. -
Assemble Your Bowl
Start with cauliflower rice as your base. Add the cooked steak and shrimp. Spoon on some guacamole, then drizzle generously with the garlic & herb sauce.
